BlueSCSI_V2_Universal_2026-08-17_4d0f96f.uf2 (2.7 MB)

BlueSCSI Ultra

50-pin.With or without an expansion hat.

Download .uf2

BlueSCSI_Ultra_2026-08-17_4d0f96f.uf2 (1.4 MB)

BlueSCSI Ultra Wide

68-pin Wide and 80-pin SCA.One file covers both.

Download .uf2

BlueSCSI_Ultra_Wide_2026-08-17_4d0f96f.uf2 (909 KB)

  1. Hold the BOOT button while plugging in USB. On a V2 it's the button on the Pico.
  2. Drag the .uf2 onto the drive that shows up.
  3. The BlueSCSI will restart. Check log.txt on the SD card to see the new version.

Windows sometimes shows a copy error. Ignore it. The update still worked.

If no drive shows up, try a different USB cable.

Update from the SD card

One zip for every board. No USB cable needed.

Copy the .zip to the SD card. Don't unzip it. Next time it boots, BlueSCSI updates itself and deletes the zip. Don't unplug it until it's done.

You need to be on v2025.07.07 or newer already.

Update from BlueSCSI Toolbox

Use the same zip from your retro computer without removing the SD card.

  1. On your Mac, download the .zip from retro.bluescsi.com. It works over http, ftp and gopher.
  2. Open BlueSCSI Toolbox, then SD Transfer.
  3. Choose File, Upload Firmware and pick the zip.
  4. Restart. BlueSCSI updates itself on the way up.

Needs BlueSCSI Toolbox 1.1.0 or newer. If Upload Firmware is greyed out, update over USB once first.
