Low Voltage

BlueSCSI will log the voltage on power up - normally should be around 3.2-3.3V. If it detects a voltage below 2.8V it will not work reliably and will log:

WARNING: Detected voltage drop to 2.74V - See: https://www.github.com/BlueSCSI/BlueSCSI-v2/wiki/Low-Voltage

Things to try to solve the low voltage:

  • If you are powering via the bus, check the voltage of the TERMPOWER pin. It should be approximately 5V.
  • Use a different power source such as the Berg connector or USB adapter plugged into the Pico.
